| In the majority of cases they should be tight enough so the only bump that would pop them out would be a tractor trailer head on. However we have seen slight variations on a few cars which seem to be small inconsistencies in the original manufacturing by Nissan. Z1 gauge rings should simply press in (with a little force) unless the wrong gauge rings were selected for your car, or you car has the wrong gauge cluster in it. The large center rings are the same for all Z32 year models. The smaller outer rings are made just slightly different for 90-91 clusters vs 92+ clusters. For some reason Nissan actually made the two outer smaller holes about a 1 mm different in diameter on the 92+ models. Needless to say we've spent a lot of time developing the gauge rings and having them produced to very exact tolerances, even going as far as to have the smaller rings in two sizes. The gauge rings are produced to a tenth of a mm. No other company has gone to these obsessive lengths to produce a set of Z32 gauge rings. As long as you have the correct smaller rings for your cluster they simply press in and stay in as a tight interference fit. With Z1 gauge rings you should never have to dremel anything and they are designed specifically not to need glue. We have titanium, brushed aluminum, black gauge rings in production that will be available soon. Unlike our competition Z1 Titanium gauge rings are plated with real Titanium not just colored that way, not to mention made for a perfect fit (and they won't be any more expensive!)
